For instance our GENOPOL* polymeric photoinitiators, already developed in the early parts of this 21st century, provided necessary solutions and have now become industry standard for our customers to formulate inks that can be safely printed on food packaging substrates.
Today there are additional and new challenges to solve for the UV industry and RAHN is already actively engaged in providing or looking for new solutions.
For example, the MIRAMER LR3130, which is of high purity and contains very low residual TMPTA, can be a perfect solution for formulators to meet the new regulatory challenge without having to completely reformulate away from ethoxylated TMPTA.
3D printing is another area where the Additive Manufacturing industry is facing new challenges when moving from rapid prototyping to rapid manufacturing. Here too, RAHN has launched new products meeting the specific evolving needs of that industry and will continue to do so.
Finally, one of the greatest challenges of the chemical industry is decarbonization or moving away progressively from fossil fuel feedstocks. Rather than green washing marketing promotions, RAHN has been developing technical and innovative chemistry based on renewable feedstock and already launched the first generation of new oligomers with high content of bio-renewable raw materials. This is only the beginning and based on numerous feedbacks received, we are now working on a second generation that can offer the choice to our customers to formulate products which will support their sustainable goals and consumer aspirations whilst providing the needed performance.
If you are interested to find out more about our innovation pipeline, or our existing products, do not hesitate to contact us.
On behalf of the entire RAHN-Team, we would like to thank you for the good collaboration in 2022 and wish you and your family a peaceful Christmas and a successful start to 2023.
