Experiencing the trials site let's you get an understanding on how StickyPiston servers work and operate. On this trials site, while you may have a limited amount of time to play a map, experience a vanilla server, or sieve your way through a modpack, you have an unlimited amount of times you can go through and play it (by creating new trial servers).
One of the best features with the trials is that if you wish to continue forward on what you're playing, you can order a server and after purchasing a server, continue the world from the trial onto a server where you can play it for as long as you want. Bring some friends along too as I'm sure you'll want some buddies to join in on the fun.
