2022 for The Bridge PAI community has taught us all the power that can come through change. These past few years have been a testament to change as much as the resiliency of our community.
In June of this year The Bridge welcomed a new Executive Director, Jay Simple and Operations Manager, Amber Smith to lead the charge for this next explosive stage of BPAI. Our staff along with our dedicated and experienced board members will continue building upon the mission and vision of BPAI to bridge diverse communities by bringing resources to the public and creative arts.
As many of you already know, BPAI has MOVED! We said our farewells to 209 Monticello Rd, the place we have called home for so many years. The laughs, memories and creativity that resonated in this home will be carried in our hearts as we venture into our new space!
Our new 4,300 sq/ft creative center will forefront the creation of low-cost and equitable studio space with private, semi-private and co-working space for members to take risk, collaborate and create community. This center will enhance the continuation of our collaborative residency program, educational and workshop offerings, as well as a rededication to using our resources to build bridges that create events and programs which foster dialogue amongst diverse communities in and outside of our walls.
As we enter into the holiday season and prepare for the new year, we hope you will consider helping The Bridge support and sustain its cause in nurturing a creative and welcoming space for our community. With your donation we will be able to ensure a space that centers collaboration and connectivity. These funds will go towards the renovation of our new center, outfitting it with necessary equipment and supplies, and supporting the initiatives which allow our services to be offered for free or at low-cost.
