PALS Autism Society Needs Your Help This Giving Tuesday.

I'm happy to report the school year got off to a good start and everyone, from our kindergarteners up to our grade 12s, is excited for what the rest of the year will bring. You can help shape the upcoming months for our students by making a donation today.

We are in need of funds for Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, community outings, and playground improvements. Your donation will keep the doors open to integral therapies, specialized materials, and adaptive activities. Your donation will help continue to set PALS apart from other schools.

The cost a personal calming sensory kit for supporting the development of self-regulation.

The cost of two hours of support for life skills training in grocery shopping and meal preparation.

The cost of one parent training session involving an Occupational Therapist, helping families to bridge the gap between home and school.

The cost of one day of social skills classes run by a Speech Language Therapist.

The cost of one field trip to a local attraction, including admission and public transit fees. Double the donation and students can ride a chartered bus thus increasing the time spent at the attraction and decreasing the risks associated with public transit and students who may bolt away from caregivers.

All funds go towards supporting the year-round, scientifically-validated educational, vocational and life skills programs that are designed to encourage growth and personal achievement for individuals with autism.
