Happy Giving Tuesday — or what we prefer to call #GivingNewsDay!

We're joining over 300 organizations across the country in raising $50 million to sustain nonprofit news like ours — and to appeal to our supporters to help us in this call to action. As a supporter of Investigate Midwest, you've come to depend on our deep-dive reporting to give you the facts you need to know.

It's a movement like no other — it says a lot about you, that you want to be part of it.

From now until December 31, NewsMatch, a program supported by groups like the Knight Foundation, will match your new monthly donation 12 times or double your one-time gift, up to $1,000. Please think of the impact that could have — not just in our newsroom, but across our country, our world. NewsMatch will match up to $15,000 total.

Today we hope to raise $1,500, a challenge from several big donors. We already have one donor who committed, so we are $128 closer to our goal! Can you help us?
