Virtual Medicaid Townhalls

The Rhode Island Department of Health invites oral health care providers to a series of virtual Medicaid town hall meetings hosted by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) and the Rhode Island Dental Association (RIDA) to learn about the adult dental Medicaid program. Discover what it is like to be a Medicaid dental provider, how to address oral health disparities, and increase access to oral health care throughout our state. 

Virtual Medicaid town hall meetings will be on December 5, 2022, and December 19, 2022, at 5 p.m.   

*Recordings will be available after each session  

• Hear from colleagues about their work with Medicaid.   
• Dispel myths & answer questions about being a Medicaid provider.   
• Learn about increased reimbursement rates & new policies.   
• Review updates to the Medicaid Dental Provider Manual.   
• Obtain strategies & resources for practice success.   
• Learn about a newly funded home and community-based services (HCBS) pilot expanding access to preventive oral care services.
