Hearts filled with rainbow glitter

It has been difficult to fully be our jovial selves this month while our local LGBTQ+ community is fraught with heartache. Please know that we too are a safe space for all. We are not just a store, we a community of huge hearts.

Our newest team member has a ginormous heart and her name is Julie. She is a disabled veteran, avid reader, and D&D lover. If you have any questions “gamer” related, you’ll find her in the back wearing a ball cap while speed sorting your donations.

As for the rest of us, we’ve been busy. For the past two months, 12 of our elves have been crafting a HUGE holiday treat for you. They rummaged through all of the second-hand goodies at WGAS and replicated one of their favorite places of all time: “Mrs. Claus’ Craft Room”. The display lives in one of the GIANT Gazette windows in downtown Colorado Springs. Come see it all month long on the east side of the Gazette building (corner of Tejon and Pikes Peak). Lastly, when you stop in this week, grab a Gift Card for any amount. A $10 shopping spree with grandma would be a day to remember for any young crafter.

Let’s make stuff at our winter Kid’s Art Camp! Drop your kids off with Sally while you get your holiday errands done. We’ll be working with clay, slime, and paint. Ages 4-12.

Thanks to High Plains Church, we are offering scholarships for those in need.

BELLY DANCING

Mark off one of your bucket list items and take a belly dancing class!

"The focus of this mixed-level bellydance class will be on drills and combos to build strong technique for group improvisation. There will be sassy shimmies, slinky slow moves, and whatever else I pull from my bag of tricks. All levels are welcome!"
