What a wonderful week at Soaring Heights! This time of year is always busy and bustling with fun and activities. We love having our students here with us to share in that joy. Girls basketball started this week, with 68 girls participating. Students have been working hard on their I-Ready assessments for ELA this week.
Soaring Heights will be sponsoring a winter necessities drive organized by our student Pride Time group. Please see below for more details and information.
Congratulations to eight students that were accepted into the Middle School All-State Choir this year. This is a record for Soaring Heights! Additionally, 17 students were accepted into the SVVSD Honor Choir.
Tonight, December 2, we have several students performing at the Erie Parade of Lights in Downtown Erie. This is a great family event and a wonderful way to celebrate our students. We hope to see you there!
We look forward to finishing December strong! As we move deeper into the school year, attendance becomes more important to your student’s learning and is directly related to their grades and growth in their grade level.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We are extremely grateful for our students, staff, parents and Erie community.
Best wishes,
Cyrus Weinberger, Principal
Meghan Quirk, Assistant Principal
