TextXD: Text Analysis Across Domains 2022

Monday, December 5 - Wednesday, December 7

The 6th Annual TextXD is less than a month away!
TextXD is an interdisciplinary conference focused on computational text analysis, spanning theory, tools, empirical applications, and ethics. We bring together researchers in fields including (but not limited to) human languages, literature, social science, computer science, health, and medicine to share their approaches, perspectives, problems, and solutions because we know that innovation is the product of synthesis across domains.

The conference is hosted by the Berkeley Institute for Data Science and
partnering with D-Lab to provide training on foundational computational text analysis tools.

Program Overview
Day 1 (December 5) will be a half-day and will include registration, networking, an opening keynote, and a welcome reception with food and drinks.
There will be an optional full-day training workshop by D-Lab on how to perform Text Analysis using natural language processing tools and methods for an additional fee.

Days 2 & 3 (December 6-7) will feature keynote speakers, talks and posters from current NLP researchers and leaders in text analysis across multiple domains, with discussion sessions over lunch and the closing reception.
