AGM

Transition Town Dorchester
is holding its
2022 AGM
on
Sunday 4th December
at 2pm
in the polytunnel at the farm.
Come and hear what TTD has been doing this year.
Wear warm clothes!
Bring a chair or a stool.
All are welcome to join us - there will be refreshments afterwards and the opportunity to buy some local products!

Railway Orchard

We will meet on Saturday 3rd December at 11. Just general light tidying up, with brambles playing the starring role, as usual...

Farm days

Winter is really upon us now, an opportunity to get on with jobs which don't get done when the weather is nicer.

We meet at the Community Farm or the Community Orchard in Poundbury on
Sunday afternoons at around 2pm

and also on

Wednesday mornings at 10.30

We will continue scything and making compost in the orchard, we will tidy up the polytunnel for the winter, put up another shed, plant out onions, turn the existing compost, mulch fruit bushes and maybe even clean the outside of the polytunnel. Something for everyone!

There is no Repair Cafe this month.
However they are organising
Rethink Fashion Dorchester,
22nd-29th April 2023,
a week long event whose main aim will be to promote and encourage the use of second hand clothes, upcycling of clothing etc in Dorchester. They will be looking for volunteers to help, and ideas of workshops and events.
More on this in the new year!

Avian flu is rife again, so we have built two enclosures to pen in our hens and geese during the day.
