Sustainable Menstruation is a Win for our Students on Giving Day!
What started off as a sustainable menstruation project created by Marina Flowers (CSUSM graduate 2020), has now turned into an ongoing program to support student success via sustainable menstrual products. Menstrual products are an added expense every month for over 50% of our student body. An individual can spend upwards of $20-$40/ per month on menstrual products. The Sustainability Program would like to reduce this "pink tax" and continue to provide menstrual cups and expand the program to include reusable pads and period underwear. Thus far, the Sustainability Program has provided sustainable menstruation products to over 300 students. Help us reach more students on Giving Day 2022!
Your support with this program will enable us provide a healthier option for the body and our planet all while eliminating the costs associated with menstruation.
