Breakfast with Santa (Volunteers)

Saturday from 9 – 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall

I just looked at our facebook event: we've got over 900 people who have responded on Facebook about this event. It's like VBS in December! I love seeing the church go big for the community. We need your help making the morning merry and bright!

• door greeter
• Food packing coordinator
• clean-up crew
• Happy, smiling faces (or grouchy faces that, by the end of the morning, become happy smiling faces—Ebenezer Scrooge-style)

Join us for a great morning of food, fun and serving. If you are volunteering in the kitchen, contact Mark Kasmerski (we love our Scouts and kitchen helpers!)

Children's Hunger Fund Box Packing

By generous donation, we’ve gotten enough food to fill 2000 boxes for Children’s Hunger Fund. These boxes will go on to impact the lives of children and their families and help ease the burden of the holidays. Pack a box of food and help spread the Good News of God’s love in the DFW area.

This is a unique opportunity to give back to those in need and is an easy way to get the whole family involved. Stop by the Sanctuary at any time during Breakfast with Santa and help pack a box or two!

On the Methodist Collegiate Association

Rev. Dr. Larry Duggins, one of the pastors at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church, will be here to share that church’s experience in voting with great unity to leave the UMC. He will also share about the Methodist Collegiate Association (a new Methodist Churches organization for those who have left the UMC).

This event will be recorded and placed on our disaffiliation page afterwards for you to watch.

  • Church Council meets tonight at 7 p.m. in the Youth Room.
  • Our second meeting for where we could go will be held on December 11 to hear about the Global Methodist Church
