Dear Friend,
So far in 2022, IDHA has reached more than 3,000 mental health workers, survivors, activists, artists, researchers, and advocates with groundbreaking transformative mental health knowledge. As a result of our work, there is a growing awareness of rights-based, peer-centered, and holistic approaches to care — and a proliferation of concrete tools and strategies that center the dignity and autonomy of people with lived experience.
If you count yourself as one of the people who has been moved or impacted by IDHA's work this year, we hope you'll consider making a donation today on Giving Tuesday. IDHA's work is only possible thanks to the generous support of our community.
This year, you have the unique opportunity to support IDHA through the purchase of a ticket to our virtual festival, this Sunday, December 4. A ticket grants you a full-day pass to the festival, plus gifts such as a limited edition IDHA tote bag, self-paced courses, the opportunity to win free books...and a yet-to-be-announced grand raffle prize!
The all-day virtual event is a culmination of love and care by many people who have been part of IDHA since our founding. It's an opportunity to collectively celebrate how far we've come, and what we're building together. You won't want to miss:
By purchasing a ticket today, you will be part of a celebratory day that will live on in IDHA community memory for perpetuity, and help us continue to uplift lived experience in mental health education. And if you can't make it on Sunday, we hope you will consider supporting us with a donation of any size.
In solidarity,
Jessie Roth
Director, IDHA

Ahead of Sunday's festival, we encourage you to check out the designs submitted by the talented creatives in our community, then vote for your favorite. We invited contributors to send us art embodying our festival theme of "Healing as Homecoming," or transformative mental health more broadly.
And if you haven't yet, grab a ticket to the festival! This tote bag won't be available for purchase outside the festival, so we encourage you to grab one while you can.
