THE GIVING TREE

• Teachers: There are items on the tree to help us bless the teachers at Auburn Elementary.
• The shut-in and disabled. There are items on the three to help us create Christmas Baskets for 40 shut-in and disabled persons in our midst.
• A family in need. We are partnering with the Ministry Village in Winder to help a few families in need this year. There are items on the tree to help us serve these families.

Announcements

• The Season of Advent.
  Begun Sunday, November 27th. Advent is a season of hopeful expectation - a time set apart to prepare ourselves for the celebration of the birth of Jesus. Each Sunday in Advent, we will experience the story of Christmas through the eyes of one who was there.
• Men's Breakfast.
  Sunday, December 4th @ 8:00 AM, in the Fellowship Hall. Join the men in our community for a time of fellowship and great food before church on Sunday.
• Ladies Potluck Brunch & White Elephant Gift Exchange.
  THIS Saturday, December 3rd @ 10:30AM. Gather your sisters, daughters, mother, grandmother, aunts, and girlfriends for a morning of fellowship and fun to celebrate the holidays. Bring your favorite brunch dish to share and a gift between $10-$15 for our gift exchange.
• Christmas Program & Santa Potluck.
  Sunday, December 11th @ 10 AM (Program) and 11:30 AM (Potluck)
• Senior Luncheon.
  Tuesday, December 13th @ 11:30 AM. We provide the meat, bread, and drinks. You are invited to bring a side dish or dessert and a donation for the meat is appreciated. All are welcome and bring a friend with you!
• Giving Tree.
  Beginning Sunday, November 27th, our Giving Tree will be on display and ready for your help. Get involved by choosing a few ornaments and brining the items back by Tuesday, the 13th. This year we will be helping three special groups through our Giving Tree:

• Sewing Group.
  Tuesdays @ 6PM in the Fellowship Hall. Help us to create projects for the community around us. No sewing skills necessary. We will provide the fabric - if you have a portable machine, please bring it with you. You are welcome to sew or to simply come for fellowship & fun. 
• Sunday Grow Groups.
  Each Sunday from 9-9:50 AM for all ages
