It's more than a meal
Thanksgiving News
|
|
While preparing this newsletter yesterday, we learned an LGBTQ club was attacked in Colorado Springs. This heartbreaking news cuts across our community both locally and nationally.
Every month when we put our news together, we are reminded of the diversity, the openness and the empathy of the world we call immersive. We don't just embrace difference, we celebrate it and share it. We've believe that immersive is unique in putting audiences into others' shoes, of developing empathy. We hope so. We hope that we can be a small part of changing the world into a more humane, loving place.
This Thanksgiving weekend, take a moment to reach out to your friends and family, but also to your fellow creatives. Give them a hug, in person or virtually. Remind them that they matter and encourage them to continue to create bravely.
Our thanks this holiday is that we can be a part of this group we call immersive. And this newsletter, in particular, is a celebration of the endless love and creative life you all bring to the world.

What do Denver Fringe, Control Group, Catamounts and Denver Film all have in common? Yes! They are all groups that have worked closely with Immersive Denver over the years. More importantly, between now and Dec 6th, they are also all a part of Colorado Gives Day. If you have a few bucks to spare and would like to help support the organizations that bring immersive to life in Denver, consider these groups and more!
