Secound Trimester our Offering will be going to support the orginization, Phil's Friends, to help create care packages for cancer patients.

Our Mission: To provide Christ-centered support and hope to those affected by cancer.

Our Vision: Phil’s Friends will expand to a sustainable international organization by implementing new programs, increasing services, expanding volunteer opportunities, and developing needed support for individuals and families affected by cancer.

Our Values: We are committed to carrying out our mission in a Christ-centered, caring culture dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by cancer. We adapt to the dynamic needs of the people we serve by acting responsibly, with a sense of urgency, and a passion for excellence. With integrity, our team serves with compassion, respect, and kindness, offering hope and peace to all.

Ms. Brandi Matthews has recently stepped down in her instructional aide / PE teacher role. We wish her all the best in her new endeavors and thank her for her service to Our Shepherd.
With this change, we are in immediate need of a part-time teacher for our middle school PE classes (Mondays and Fridays 1:15 - 3:15), as well as an aide/monitor for lunch/recess duty daily.  If you or someone you know would be a good fit for both or either of these part-time positions, please contact Principal Hedges.

This week's video highlight is Blessings and A Curse
Click the link HERE to view this series and read the full description.

"Blessing" is a religious-sounding word that we use a lot. We say “Bless you!” after a sneeze, or that we're “so blessed” when life is good. We may even use #blessed when posting a vacation photo. But what does blessing mean in the Bible? In this video, we trace the theme of blessing and curse in the Bible to see how Jesus defeats the curse and restores the blessing of life to creation.

It is imperative that you sign your student(s) up for extended care before they attend. We do this to provide a safe environment with enough space for all attendees and appropriate child-to-adult ratios.
We can accept a few calls ahead, but it is first come first serve. If your student's name is not on the list when it is printed at 12:00pm there is no guarantee we will be able to accommodate them. In addition, a $5 fee will be added to your FACTS account if they attend without being signed up.

If you are not already, please sign up on Remind for text notifications.
By signing up you will receive texts when there are late starts, early

*** A final addition to the 22/23 calendar: Arrival time has changed. School doors will open at 8:10am and close at 8:20am. This is shortened from previous years by just 5 minutes. Having this new start schedule will provide ample time for students to get into their classrooms and begin the school day. Anyone not in their classroom by 8:20 pm will be considered tardy. ***
