Josh & Abby Rattin, MCCC Missionaries serving in Uganda with Reaching & Teaching.

"Big prayer request for you:  Josh is buying 14 mattresses tomorrow… why? Because he is hosting pastor training at our new house starting Sunday!

  • pray for smooth hosting WITHOUT Abby (still in USA for another week).
  • pray for clear thoughts and teaching.
  • pray for deepening of relationships with these pastors. They are a precious group who love the Lord!"

Keep track of the Rattins and ministry by reading their blog  HERE.

Frank & Sylvia Saavadra, MCCC Missionaries serving in Panama with Reach Global.

"After our trip last year visiting church partners and friends on the East Coast, Frank had to renew his B2 visa to re-enter the United States, which expired after 10 years. This is a mandatory requirement for all Latinos.  The waiting time was eleven months, and the appointment was on July 27 at the United States embassy in Panama City. After presenting the required evidence, the visa was not approved having to apply again in August 2024. Many nationalities require an entry visa, in our case, that document must be renewed from time to time. Silvia can travel on her visa as it is currently active.   For us, it was not easy news. We understand that these are the processes that we must do as visitors to your country. We would like to have seen and reconnect and renew, however, that is not possible. Please pray with us for a future opportunity to visit together.    As we take that two-year 'break' from traveling together, we want to maintain frequent communication with you. If you ever come through Panama, it will be a good time to communicate and foster our relationship."   May you continue to grow in his grace, Frank and Silvia"

The Ws, MCCC Missionaries serving abroad with Pamir Ministries.  Pray for them.

"Perhaps you remember a few months ago, when a mom in our village approached me randomly at little E's school. She had been watching me speak Dari to a group of As, and said her friend worked with unaccompanied A refugee children (some as young as 12) in a community youth home, and that they may appreciate me helping to translate for them. I was very excited about the possibility, inquired a few more times when I saw her, but nothing came of it. Tonight, this woman’s daughter came over for a playdate, and I invited the mom in to have coffee with me. We made small talk (she surely saw the scripture hanging around our house), and big E’s work with Pamir came up, as well as my former work at an A orphanage (for those who joined in recent years, this was before the hospital). This time, she brought up the youth home again, “do you remember when I told you about that youth home?” she said to me, as she pulled up the webpage up on her phone. “It’s Christian; is that ok?” I couldn’t help but laugh. We’ll see if anything comes of it, but I am hopeful!    This week: we have staff coming from around the world to begin filming season 2 of Destiny. Please pray with us that the filming would go well, and that God would be glorified through this work!"
