The WINTER COURSE CATALOG is expected to arrive in centers by December 9. Members can find it ONLINE from the homepage at www.GVREC.org this coming week. Because the catalog will be later than originally expected, registration will open on December 12.

Found Items Policy: All centers have a "lost and found" box where low-value items are collected (towels, caps, water bottles, etc.) Items that are clearly valuable or may have high sentimental value (jewelry, prescription glasses, hearing aids, tablets, and GVR cards) are kept behind the customer service desk if found at a center where there is a customer service desk. If there is no customer service desk, the valuable item is shuttled to the Box Office at West Center. Low-value items are donated to the White Elephant at the end of each month. High value items are donated in April and October.

Annual dues invoices will arrive in mailboxes near the end of this month. Online payments can be made starting December 1 (watch for a button on the homepage at GVREC.org). If you anticipate having trouble paying your 2023 dues ($510), or making a full payment on time, please consider applying for MAP (see next section below) or for a dues payment plan. Click HERE for the dues payment plan application, which must be submitted anew each year.

GVR is HIRING! Part time, evening Custodians work stable 4-day schedules cleaning centers in teams. Full and part-time Recreation Services Assistants work in centers assisting members with activities and events. A full-time Fitness Coordinator is needed to ensure the fitness facilities operate smoothly. Full time GVR staff are offered medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. All staff receive vacation pay, 401k match*, and an annual GVR dues waiver.
Click HERE to view open positions and apply
*must be 21 years of age to participate in the 401k program
Each year, the Member Assistance Program helps GVR members in need pay their annual dues so they can stay active and contribute to their clubs and social groups. The MAP program is funded primarily through the generous donations of GVR members like you. Click HERE to make a tax-deductible donation to MAP through the GVR Foundation. The GVR Foundation has helped fund the annual MAP awards since 2014.

This year, the members of the GVR Foundation Board have personally pitched in to match the first $10,000 in donations to MAP.  GVR Clubs have donated $9,500 to date! Donate today to double your impact!

If you need help to pay your 2023 GVR dues ($510), click HERE for the 2023 MAP application or visit any customer service desk for a paper copy. DEADLINE: DECEMBER 12
