I hope you are well and feeling as hopeful as I am about our climate future. We know we can save our planet if we take urgent steps toward climate solutions now. People are concerned and want to act. ecoAmerica has built a network of over 100 national health, faith, and civic organizations and trained more than 2,200 local Ambassadors who are making a difference in their neighbors, workplaces, communities, and with policymakers on climate.
Climate change is affecting us all, and we need to take care of ourselves as we address it. With the American Psychological Association, ecoAmerica published a report, Mental Health and Our Changing Climate, that provides solutions and has been cited by the US Congress, the World Health Organization, and the National Academies as guidance.
“The things Americans value most are at risk,” warned the National Climate Assessment in a recent report. As an ecoAmerica Board Member for more than a decade, it’s been awe-inspiring to watch the organization catalyze climate action in communities across America. I am deeply grateful to supporters like you who share our concerns.
Thank you for your commitment to slow, stop, and reverse climate change.
ecoAmerica’s broad coalition of national health, faith, and community partners brings great leverage, scale, and credibility as we energize the movement for climate solutions across America. We meet people where they are in their local communities and inspire and empower them to act with customized resources and guides that build confidence and support for meaningful climate action.
