This Sunday is the first Sunday in Advent. Advent is a season for those who wait, which is all of us. Some of us wait for SAT scores, or college acceptance letters, or healing of a loved one. Here's a cool 2-minute refresher video about the season of Advent. EYC and Sunday formation are on recess this Sunday, and resume Sunday, December 4th.
Please mark your calendars for Bishops Ball, January 27-29th! This is retreat is full of formation, fun and fellowship with youth from around our diocese. Bishop's Ball is for all youth (grades 6-12). More details and registration to come.

Opportunities to Worship, Serve, and Grow
Saint Nicholas Ministry: Youth are needed to help carry boxes and bags with presents in them to and from the sanctuary on St. Nicholas Day, Sunday, December 4th both during and after the 9 AM service!

EYC: EYC (Episcopal Youth Community) meets in the Youth Wing on Sunday evenings from 5-7 PM for games, fellowship and food. Bring your friends! If you haven't registered for EYC and Sunday School, it's just one form - right here.
Youth Sunday formation: In the Youth Wing from 10:10 - 11 AM. Middle and high schoolers typically break into their own groups with their leaders .
Acolyte signup for Sunday Services: Three acolytes will serve at the 9 AM and 11:15 services; 1 crucifer and 2 torchbearers. To sign up to acolyte, clickhere.
Colors of Hope: This is a monthly meeting for LGBTQIA+ youth in the diocese. We will use the book The Colors of Hope: Devotions from LGBTQ+ Christians as a starting point for our conversations. The discussions are facilitated by LGBTQIA+ young adults and will be a safe space for fellowship, community and conversation. More info below!
