Join us in welcoming Lanndhese Talice to
Family Promise of Greater Washington County!

Lanndhese has 9 years of experience working with disadvantaged populations experiencing homelessness and those living with complex behavioral health challenges. She has developed skills in non-profit management, community organizing, fiscal and grant management, outreach, and relationship building, staff and program development, and fundraising. She is a strong advocate for the underserved and is passionate about advancing the health and well-being of those in need.

Most recently, Lanndhese served as the Director of Programs and Interim Executive Director at Barrett Housing Foundation. During her tenure, she doubled the organization’s budget, significantly increased the minimum wage floor, started their first retirement match, and spearheaded the implementation of multiple housing programs and policy initiatives.

In her role as the Director of Housing at Flagstaff Shelter Services, Lanndhese implemented the organization’s first Permanent Supportive Housing Program, a motel-to-housing program, and the first family overflow shelter.

Lanndhese loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking with her dog, Mikey. She is an avid reader and DIYer who loves home decor and making things with her hands.

COUNT DOWN TO THE BIGGEST CELEBRATION OF GENEROSITY!
#GivingTuesday, a day when people come together to give back, is Tuesday, November 29.

Those served by Family Promise of Greater Washington County benefit in many ways by the acts of generosity on #givingtuesday.

  • Provided intervention to 50 families at risk of losing housing or food instability.
  • Connected 4,212 adults to employers, English-language learning programs, job training programs, and other community resources.
  • Provided 12,000 bed nights, served over 35,000 meals, and provided over 500 hours of case management.

Great news!  Family Promise has been selected to receive diapers from PDX Diaper Bank for a temporary outreach project in order to increase support to low-income children and families residing in Washington County. This generous offer will fully stock diaper inventory for the next year, and help provide for families in our shelter and program graduates who request them.  We are grateful to be the recipients of this charitable effort.  Thank you PDX Diaper Bank!
If you or someone you know needs help with diapers, please contact Aly at 971-217-2838 or alejandraja@fpgwc.org.
Family Promise of Greater Washington County (FPGWC) wants to take this opportunity to thank all of our amazing supporters for their many acts of kindness.

In October, your participation in Family Promise Week and Night Without A Bed helped transform the lives of homeless families in Washington County and across the U.S.! Thank you to our donors for your participation and special thanks to Family Promise National for awarding us with the Star Prize this year!  Click here to learn more about this year's campaign results and outcomes.

FPGWC volunteers find resourceful and sustainable ways to help support our mission. A big thanks to Barb Upson, Jon Schlueter, and Sr. Rita Watkins for their steadfast effort in leading the BottleDrop project. This month, Bottledrop donated an additional 20% back for FPGWC. Many thanks to those that contributed cans and bottles. Our total earned through BottleDrop so far this year is over $6000!

Our work is not possible without the continued partnership of our community.
