Nov. 29, is “Giving Tuesday” – a global day of giving focused on the generosity of people and organizations and the power of philanthropy to create a better world. In this season of gratitude, everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts.
UofL Health is a vital safety net and provides care to many of our region’s most vulnerable people. As a system, we also employ 13,000+ people and sometimes our dedicated health care workers need our support as well.
Show your support of UofL Health and health equity for Giving Tuesday with a gift today. Your generosity will directly impact those in our UofL Health family who are struggling – our NICU families, as they face tremendous medical and personal challenges; our patients who are experiencing barriers to care and needing support; and UofL Health employees faced with sudden emergencies and personal crises.

UofL Health – UofL Hospital has achieved the highest national recognition awarded to a hospital for excellence in nursing. “Magnet recognition provides our community with the ultimate benchmark to measure the quality of patient care,” said Shari Kretzschmer, MBA, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, senior vice president and chief nursing officer of UofL Health. “Achieving Magnet recognition reinforces the culture of excellence that is a cornerstone of how we serve our community.
