Local Ink 2022: Wrap-Up!
We'd like to start this newsletter with an overwhelming THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who made the Local Ink 2022 event come alive this year. Thank you to our Events Director, Jennifer Baldwin, and her group of volunteers: Cass Rittenhouse, Nora Young, Peg Rhein, Susan Naylor, Cece Tio, and Mary Sue Markey. Without them, this event wouldn't have taken place, and we are so grateful for all their hard work on it this year.
And we thank you, our patrons and supporters! Without you, there would be no Local Ink to celebrate with.
We are excited about our next Local Ink show! If you have any feedback you'd like to provide, send us an email or visit us at our website to leave your comment. We grow based on our feedback, and look for ways to better reach out to our community!

Updated Weekend Studio Hours
Our weekend hours are adjusting! We will now have our open studio from 1-6 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
But stay tuned! In January, we will be adjusting the reservation system and starting a hybrid system where we will have time allot for open and shared studio time, and a reservation schedule.
We look forward to seeing our members sharing time together in the studio!

Fall Classes: Prints in Process!
Our Fall classes have been successfully rolling out, with Anne-Marie's "Coloring Block Prints" and Stephanie's "Etching" classes pressing on.
Both classes have wrapped up and have a lot to share with what they've learned! We thank both our instructors, Anne-Marie Herrera and Stephanie Berrie for their lessons and can't wait for another one in the near future.

Learn to create colorful prints with Chine Collé, the printmaking technique of mounting thin papers and fabrics to a heavier support stock while printing an image in one pass. Materials used can be Japanese rice papers, stamped, painted or patterned papers or anything else such as lightweight silk. We will experiment in monotype using powdered wheat paste to adhere the colorful materials to a heavier stock such as Rives BFK.
