November Partner Update

May we be the first to wish you a happy Lancashire Day in advance of the big day on Sunday (27th).  Make sure you join us, via your social media channels, using the hashtag #LancashireDay.

This month, we have been very much focussed on our Taste Lancashire campaign activity, hosting a well-received conference last week, with speakers including Hairy Biker Si King and attended by 100 representatives from Lancashire’s food, hospitality and tourism industry.  The conference addressed the challenges facing businesses and inspired interesting debate about the future.  Click here to read more.  This week, the team, joined by a selection of food and drink partners, are representing Taste Lancashire at the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham.

T
here has been celebration across Lancashire as a range of cultural projects have received funding from Arts Council England.  The funding is part of a £43.5m investment in Levelling Up by the Arts Council.  Congratulations to all successful applicants.  We look forward to seeing the results of your creativity and passion.

In November we welcomed new Visit Lancashire supplier partner Alsico Laucuba, a leading workwear manufacturer from Preston.  We thank them all for their support and look forward to working in partnership over the coming year and beyond.

This partner update includes news and opportunities, including Lancashire Day, Lancashire Tourism Awards, Visit Lancashire events guide and an introduction to a new supplier partner.
