Dear Friend in Christ,
I’m a little amazed that you are reading this note today. Bless you! Are you being pulled in many directions this Thanksgiving weekend? I hope amidst it all you allowed time to breathe and reflect, even to pray.
Dear Lord, Shine Your light upon my heart and spirit, and remind me that with every new dawn, you bring fresh hope and promise for my soul. Amen.
This Sunday marks the beginning of Advent—the four weeks of hopeful anticipation leading us toward Christmas once again. Jeff has outdone himself with musical choices, the Advent wreath is set, the church bedecked in Blue, and church is just a bit warmer with you in it.

PS: A “prayer square” from last week gave thanks for my abiding love for the congregation. I was glad that “love” is what gets noticed about my leadership; it is intentional, and it flows from Jesus’ love for us all.

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is seeking donations!
- Personal Hygeine Products: The Food Pantry is in need of personal hygiene products (deodorant, soap, tooth brushes/paste, etc.). Donations can be dropped in the box in the Narthex or in the office.
- Shopping Carts: We are in need of shopping carts so our guests can carry their groceries home. Each cart costs $35 and can be purchased at Walmart. We also accept cash/check donations so that we can purchase them!
