“Words Fail: Let’s Sing!”
Honoring Kaeza’s Music Ministry
Led By Rev. Dr. Michelle Walsh
Our mission at First Parish Church in Taunton is to
Inspire, Connect, and Serve
Come join us in a celebration of Kaeza’s music ministry to the First Parish Church in Taunton over these past 12 years and more! There will be lots of opportunities to sing and also to share memories and gratitude for Kaeza. As you are able, bring snacks for the welcoming table after the service – gluten, and soy-free are particularly appreciated by Kaeza, though all offerings will be welcomed!
Children and Youth are welcome to stay for the whole service if they like, or they may head to the Chalice Children's Faith Formation Rooms to make instruments and create music of their own.

How in the world is a fun Christmas film like "Gremlins" considered to be a pop classic for social justice conversations? Well, come and find out in the next Social Justice Film Discussion in the lead minister's office on Friday, Dec. 2nd, at 6 PM. Kids are welcome to be present for the film as well, and childcare will be provided afterward as needed. Lots of snacks and drinks will be provided, contact Michelle for more info at michelle@revmichellewalsh.com

Christmas Parade
All are welcome to join us Sunday, December 4 (time and parking location TBD) as we once again march in the Taunton Christmas Parade. The parade theme this year is Christmas Around the World, we will have a North Pole Float, and folks (kids, youth, and adults) are encouraged to dress as elves, snowmen, reindeer, candy canes, or Christmas Trees (we are not allowed to dress as Santa), As always we will be handing out candy to the crowd so if anyone would like to donate some it would be most appreciated.
There will be no service Sunday, Dec 4. However, anyone not walking in the parade is welcome to bring a chair and watch the parade on the front lawn of the church.

Holiday Paint and Sip Fundraiser
Join us Friday night, December 9, from 7-9 PM for a super fun Ornament Paint and Sip night. Adults, youth, and kids 10+ will get to follow along with a tutorial and paint 2 wooden ornaments. We will provide all the materials - paint, brushes, and ornaments (however, as always, people are welcome to bring their own materials) as well as snacks, wine, and cider.
We will also have childcare available for kids under 10. Kids attending childcare will have a blast watching a holiday movie and making pipe cleaner & popsicle stick ornaments.
Tickets are $30 per adult (21+) and $15 per youth/kids.

First Parish Church is excited to announce a reimagined enchanted FOREST OF LIGHT display on the grounds of First Parish Church, located on Taunton's historic Church Green. Join us this holiday season and be a part of bringing magic to life! Our Forest of Light display opens Saturday, Dec. 3, and is free for all to experience this holiday season.
