KC CAFÉ  –
A WARM SPACE IN A COLD WINTER

We are launching a new initiative, aimed at helping the community with the rising cost of living this winter. The plan is for the synagogue to be available every Tuesday starting on 3rd January 2023 weekly from 10 am to 1 pm, offering hot chocolate, tea , coffee and biscuits – but we can only do this if we get enough volunteers!
Please contact our care co-ordinator Arlene Pentel at
care@kolchai.org or Pauline Grant if you are able to commit as a volunteer once a month to help manage and run this important initiative.
We are looking to have two volunteers for each session.  Let’s keep each other warm this winter!

Free CD featuring a selection of the sacred and secular music of Salamone Rossi. Salamone Rossi is pretty well the first Jewish composer of importance. He lived and worked in Mantua in Italy, and worked with Monteverdi. He also, unusually, set Hebrew texts to Italianate music - Hashirim asher lishlomo.
