Dear partners and supporters,

*We are resending this mail as there was an error in the link to the report in the previous mail. The link is now updated.*

After sharing the initial results of Menstrual Hygiene Day 2022 in the summer, we took a deep dive into the data to create, what we hope is, the most interesting and insightful MH Day Impact Report to date.

As you already know, collectively we reached an incredible 687 million people through Menstrual Hygiene Day 2022! Together, our movement broke all previous MH Day records pushing back societal taboos and stigma and increasing the political relevance of the issue like never before! Find out how our movement achieved all of this and much more by reading the new expanded version of the Menstrual Hygiene Day Impact Report.

What you'll find in this year's Impact Report

In the Impact Report, you will find key figures relating to:

  • Total campaign reach
  • Media coverage
  • Social media contributions
  • Partner organisations
  • Graphs that show the growth in each of these categories since our inception in 2014!

In addition, the report includes 70 campaign highlights from social media, online and traditional media (broadcast and print), and events. We share initial results from the Action Cycle, a new commitment mechanism to catalyse action and funding by increasing transparency and accountability that the Secretariat introduced in 2022. And, you can read an update about the Menstruation Bracelet.

The collective impact of Menstrual Hygiene Day is rooted in the power of our movement. As of today, the movement consists of 910 official partners including hundreds of grassroots NGOs such as Days for Girls and WAGGGS, UN agencies and intergovernmental organisations including UNICEF and the World Bank, and corporate supporters such as Procter & Gamble and Kimberly-Clark. In addition, many more organisations, decision-makers, and other interested parties across the globe contributed to the impact of Menstrual Hygiene Day. Together, we can create a world where no one is held back because they menstruate. #WeAreCommitted
