Triangular spacing in the Forest Garden:
Increasing yields on a given piece of land is an important goal for every farmer. Planting seeds or transplants in a triangular pattern, rather than traditional grid-row planting, allows farmers to sow more plants in the same area. In addition to more plants and higher yields, the higher plant density limits weed growth and competition, and better protects the soil from erosion and moisture loss.
