Tuesday, November 29, is YSGivingTuesday

We hope you are enjoying a long Thanksgiving Weekend. As you think about this season of giving, we hope you will participate with us on YSGivingTuesday by supporting our nonprofits, scholarship funds, and Community!

YSGivingTuesday, a 24-hour window from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm on Tuesday, November 29, is an opportunity to conveniently make your annual giving to a variety of local organizations. The Foundation is pleased to support 40 organizations, many of whom use this event as their annual campaign for the 6^th year. Yellow Springs and Miami Township are one of the more than 80 communities in the country participating this year.

We created a website to make it as easy as possible for you to be a nonprofit champion. Each of our nonprofits support one or more the following areas:

Affordable Housing

Arts

Community

Economic Development

Education

Environment

Farmland Preservation

Food Security

Health & Wellness

Seniors

Social justice

The Foundation has provided a grant of $10,000 to be shared among the nonprofits based on the number of donations generated on YSGivingTuesday, November 29. This year's goal is for 550 donations totaling $40,000 to 40 recipient organizations in 45387. Please help us reach our goal.

YSGivingTuesday is a great way to show appreciation for all our local nonprofits and their great work in our community!

THE FOUNDATION IS NOW ABLE TO ACCEPT DONATIONS IN CRYPTOCURRENCY. Similar to the process we use for donations of stock, the cryptocurrency will be immediately liquidated with the net cash value being acknowledged as the donation amount.
