6. On this day in SBC history...

In 1982 - Grady Nutt Dies In Crash

Grady Nutt, one of the best know comedians in the country and a highly-visible Southern Baptist, died in a plane crash at Cullman, Ala., at 10:45 p.m. Nov. 23. Two professional pilots with him in the Beechcraft Baron were also killed.

7. BP Sports Update

  • World Cup: Takuma Asano and Japan knocked off Germany this morning. France cruised to a 4-1 win yesterday. While there have been three 0-0 draws so far, the games have been quite good...except for that Morocco-Croatia one this morning.
  • NCAAF: No change in the top four for the playoff. And it looks as if LSU were to win out, they would be in. Wild.
