HAPPY THANKSGIVING
A Thanksgiving Prayer

Accept, O Lord, our thanks and praise for all that you have done for us. We thank you for the splendor of the whole creation, for the beauty of this world, for the wonder of life, and for the mystery of love. We thank you for the blessing of family and friends, and for the loving care which surrounds us on every side. We thank you for setting us at tasks that demand our best efforts, and for leading us to accomplishments that satisfy and delight us. We thank you also for those disappointments and failures that lead us to acknowledge our dependence on you alone. Above all, we thank you for your Son Jesus Christ; for the truth of his Word and the example of his life; for his steadfast obedience, by which he overcame temptation; for his dying, through which he conquered death; and for his rising to life again, in which we are raised to the life of your kingdom. Grant us the gift of your Spirit, that we may know Christ and make him known; and through him, at all times and in all places, may give thanks to you in all things.  Amen.

Time is running out...

Quick Photography Sessions in the Nave Every Sunday in November!
9:15 - 10 AM & Noon - 1:30 PM- Meet Valerie in front of the Altar

As we transition to a new database, we would love the opportunity to get a quick picture of EACH family/person in our congregation. Plan to either arrive early or stay late to get a quick shot taken. We will do our best to make this as fun and quick as possible! Our goal is to have full participation from the congregation, so please make plans to be photo ready…but do not stress, God made you beautiful!!! However, showering before church is always a nice goal ;)

Sunday Hospitality: Bring your extras!
Hospitality Plans for Sunday, November 27
Offered after both 8 & 10:30 AM services

I don’t know about you, but after Thanksgiving I am not super excited about eating the leftovers in the fridge at our house. However, eating someone else’s tasty leftovers is a new and exciting adventure! Please make plans to bring your savory and/or sweet leftovers to share with the congregation during hospitality in Hebron Hall.  Small cards will be provided, so everyone can let us know about the item you are sharing at the tables. Reach out to Valerie Hanks with any questions.

Please join us for an Advent Celebration with special guests: Saint Nicholas of Myra and Saint Lucy of Syracuse! They will share about their lives and ministry. This will be a fun event for young and old alike!
Families bring a side, a salad, or a dessert based on the first letter of your last name

  • Last name A-H: Side dish
  • Last name I-P: Salad
  • Last name Q-Z: Dessert
RSVP with Erin Macdonald by December 1 to ensure we have enough food!
