Come Discuss the Modified Calendar for the 2023-2024 School Year

CMSD needs to hear your voice.

The CMSD Administrative team is discussing a modified calendar with its stakeholders Thursday, Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. at the Joe Cook Elementary auditorium. The CMSD Leadership Team has held several meetings with community members, teachers, administrators and students throughout this process. We want to involve every member and community partner in this conversation before we move forward with a modified or traditional calendar for the upcoming academic year.

Our team wants to hear your questions, comments, or concerns. Your voice matters and we value the feedback from all of our stakeholders.

24/7 Online Tutor

Paper

For academic assistance, students can log into their Clever accounts and hit the Paper icon (left). This program, funded by the Mississippi Department of Education, is free to all students at CMSD through September 2024.

Paper provides students with unlimited access featuring a live chat with a tutor 24/7. The live chat is saved and classroom teachers can monitor the conversations and see which students need assistance in which areas. This on-demand resource can help students with school assignments ranging from math problems, essays, reading assignments, and even resume-building.

Athletic Events

Meet us at The Nest Friday and Tuesday!

We will kick the games off on Friday and Tuesday with our JV boys playing at 5 p.m., Varsity Girls at 6 p.m. and Varsity Boys at approximately 7:30 p.m. These are our final two games at The Nest so make sure you come out loud and Falcon proud!
