Dear ECS families,

Due to a high number of student absences related to illness, we are shifting to school-at-home on Tuesday, December 13 and Wednesday December 14.  School-at-school will resume on Thursday, December 15 at planned (for the Christmas feast!).  

The school building will also be closed on these two days.  

And take heart! The Ugly-Sweater Contest will still happen, but instead of Wednesday, it'll transpire at Matins on Thursday morning. 

We are not canceling school altogether for sake of not having to extend further into the summer.  However, the assigned loads will be manageable and relatively light.  As best we can (with the flexibility we have), we'd like to keep our students healthy while relaxing the curricular pace a little bit.  

As with normal school-at-school days, students who are sick should prioritize getting better, not keeping up on their schoolwork. 

Please check Sycamore for the latest information and school-at-home assignments, and we'll see you all on Thursday. Alternatively, contact your child's teachers directly for more direction or information.
