The British Institute of International and Comparative Law is delighted to launch its programme of training courses for 2023. In Spring, we will be offering a number of our flagship courses including Foundations of Public International Law, Public International Law in Practice, Law of the Sea, Climate Change Law, Business and Human Rights, Aviation Law and WTO Law. Additional courses (including courses on: International and Transnational Criminal Law and Artificial Intelligence) will be added to both the spring and autumn programme so please watch this space.

BIICL training combines world leading research with an applied perspective. Our courses are convened and taught by international experts from BIICL’s own team in collaboration with external partners, combining academic expertise with practical experience in these fields of law. They are designed to enable legal practitioners, policy makers, government officials, civil society, organisations, academics and students to gain expert insights and to deepen their knowledge in areas of international law. They also provide opportunities for networking and to meet (virtually or in person) others working in the field.

Places on all our courses are limited to ensure a highly interactive experience. Some courses are offered virtually whilst some are offered in hybrid format.

Discounts for group bookings and individual members of BIICL are also available. A limited number of scholarships are available for each course to enable participation from individuals who cannot otherwise join the courses, and for people from communities that are currently under-represented in the legal community.

If you have found this information useful, we would be grateful if you would forward it to those in your network who you think might be interested in the activities of BIICL, and encourage them to subscribe to our mailing list to receive further updates.
