Lord, How Shall I Meet You?

It really is a good question, one that Christians needlessly struggle with in our day and age. Christians want to be with Jesus. He is our Savior. We are not safe without him, but too many Christians are uncertain about his presence. They struggle to be sure that his redeeming work rests upon them.

O Lord, How Shall I Meet You?

Can you answer this important question? Check out your hymnal, LSB #334. Especially take note of stanza 4 where Paul Gerhard writes:

Love caused Your incarnation;

Love brought You down to me,

Your thirst for my salvation

Procured my liberty.

Oh, love beyond all telling,

That led You to embrace

In love, all love excelling,

Our lost and fallen race

A Blessed Advent,

Pastor Wiist

We give thanks to God for the generous way in which he delivers grace and mercy to us. Everywhere we turn we find another tangible way in which we can receive the forgiveness of sins. One wonderful gift has been forgotten for too long. We're bringing it back!
