Owl Book Group
Friday, December 30 | 10:30am-12pm | Zoom

Join us virtually this month to discuss The Paris Bookseller by Kerri Maher. When young American Sylvia Beach opens Shakespeare and Company in Paris in 1919, she has no idea that she and her new bookstore will change the course of literature itself. When her friend James Joyce's controversial novel Ulysses is banned, Beach takes a massive risk and publishes it under Shakespeare and Company.

If you already receive e-mail from the Owl Book Group, you'll receive a link for this meeting a few days before the event.

If you're new, welcome! Please e-mail askuscml@wccls.org to receive a link for the event a few days before it happens.

The group typically meets on the last Friday of each month. Newcomers are always welcome!
