I want to thank all our Official Sno-Bees Trails Trustees for their efforts in working their butts off opening our trails, putting up trail signs and providing positive interactions with our landowners. Without you all, this would not happen! Thank you!
We have had some great reroutes of our trails. Special thanks to Steve Avery for quarterbacking a major trail relocation on Phelps Rd. Thanks also to the Team that he put together to make this all happen. Special thanks to Dan, Jim, Scott, Tim, Joe, Logan, and Paul. Paul also deserves mention for equipment and time for our new road crossing to the Country Club of Barre trail. Thanks to LD Safety Marking for the new metal posts and F.R. Layfayette, Inc. for use of a blessed, time saving post pounder that helped sign the trails.
We have also improved have reconstructed a unique stone culvert in the Valley to Groton trail and replaced the bridge spanning this area. Special thanks to Mark for his help is getting this done. Very special thanks to Dave for use his excavator for culvert replacements and improvements to this vital area.
Big thanks to Mike and Lionel for their time and effort with cleaning up the Lobster Pot turnaround. They also did some much-needed cutting and de-brushing of this vital area.
When trails open, please report any trees or other obstructions that may be out there. We are looking for safe passage and a clean opening of our trail system.
Remember, the earliest trails can open is Thursday December 16, 2022, and that is subject to adequate snow cover, ground conditions, grooming, getting gates opened up etc... Be sure to check the VAST online trail map for trail status before riding.
