sunday worship

Join us for worship this Sunday (12/18) at 11AM as we celebrate the fourth Sunday of Advent
at 301 S. Swain Street! We are excited to sing, pray, and reflect on the words spoken by our guest preacher and beloved community member, Rev. Dr. Donna Coletrane-Battle.

If you'd like to grab coffee before service, we invite you to come early on Sundays and enjoy a treat from our friends at Blackology Coffee.

Can’t be with us in person? We broadcast our Sunday services via Facebook Live. In whatever way you join us, we are thankful for your presence.

getting involved at ser\t

We need your help! Our worshipful work is made possible by the incredible staff and volunteers that make up our community. If you are new to SER\T and looking for ways to get involved, joining one of these teams could be a great next step!

Do you enjoy meeting and greeting new people? Our Hospitality Team is looking for folks willing to commit two hours of their Sunday, once or twice a month, to welcome people into our space before and after worship.

Do you enjoy operating with screens and technology? Our Audio-Visual (AV) Production Team is in need of volunteers for Sunday services, too! For more information, see the contacts below. Thank you!

new year's day service

Parking on sundays

Because parking on-site is limited, our recommendation is to prioritize parking at Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy's parking lot and reserve the church's parking lot for accessible/handicapped parking. For an extensive list of parking options and addresses, please refer to our recent post on Facebook.

For further questions or concerns, please contact Emily Yoon, our Interim Director of Operations, at seradmin@esumc.org.

mail us your christmas card!

If you are a family with children, we would love to receive your Christmas card! Our Director of Families with Children, Becky Blanco, would love to hang pictures of SER\T families on the wall of the kid's hallway. Throughout December, we invite you to bring your card to Becky on Sundays or mail your card to SER\T at 301 S. Swain Street during the week. If you do not send Christmas cards but would still like to be represented on the wall, we invite you to bring another family photo of your choice. Thank you!
