The December SESEC coalition meeting will be a Zoom Meeting on Thursday, 15 December from 12.00-1.30 p.m. Please register for the meeting. You should receive an email confirmation.

Seattle School Board Directors Brandon Hersey (District 7) and Liza Rankin (District 1) will talk about the Board’s move to a Student Outcomes Focused Governance model: the challenges it is intended to address, the Board’s progress in implementing it, and how it is used in practice to improve outcomes for students of color furthest from educational justice.

SESEC meetings are the third Thursday of the month, 12.00-1.30 (or 2.00 depending on topic and agenda). Currently, we meet via Zoom. These email updates generally go out about one week before the meeting announcing the speaker and a registration link. Many coalition partners put a recurring meeting on their calendar to hold the time. If you have questions, please contact: Mindy.
