Deadline - Friday: Fall 2022 Graduation Contracts Deadline
On behalf of Registrar's Office

The final due date for graduation and certificate contracts to be submitted either electronically or via hard copy to the Registrar’s Office is Friday, December 9th at 4:00 p.m. with a $25 late fee, payable to the Cashier.

Please note there is a new email address for electronic submission of graduation contracts: graduationcontracts@csupueblo.edu.

Please review the following common issues on all graduation contracts before submission:

• Intended semester for graduation, degree intent and all major(s), emphasis area(s) and minor(s) are correct and reflect what is in Banner and on DARS audit.

• All DARS audit deficiencies noted are fixed prior to contract submission. (Exceptions and petitions must be reflected on the DARS audit prior to submission.)

• ALL required signatures are present. We are unable to accept email approval of graduation contracts in lieu of signatures.

• A current “green” DARS audit is attached and reflects accurate student enrollment information. For electronic contract submission please save the audit as a pdf and attach it to the email.

All contracts are reviewed before being placed in the degree conferral queue. If any of the above issues are found, the contract will be returned and due to the lateness in the semester may require filing the contract for a later term.

CIS Senior Professional Project Spring 2023 Project Solicitation
On behalf of Hasan School of Business - Computer Information Systems

(Second Call!) It is time again for me to solicit proposals for the CIS 432 Senior Professional Project class for Spring 2023. The projects we are interested in identifying are those that will challenge the students to use most, if not all, of the skills and knowledge they have gained during their education here.

If your department, or any organization you know of (non-profit or for-profit), has an information need, not limited to technology-based, that our students may develop a solution for, please contact me with a brief description of the project and why it is needed.

We in the CIS department will be screening the projects and will make decisions about their inclusion in the class by the end of the semester.

Seed Grant Application (FY 2023 – 2024)
On behalf of the Scholarly Activities Board

The Office of the Provost is announcing the call for proposal for the Seed Grant (FY 2023 – 2024). All tenure-track probationary and tenured academic and administrative faculty of CSU-Pueblo are eligible to apply for the funding. All Seed proposals must include funding for at least one registered full-time undergraduate (preferred) or graduate student. The maximum award for a Seed award will not exceed $10,000. Faculty who never received a Seed grant will receive a 5% increase in their earned score, meaning they will receive 5% more priority over whoever received a grant in the past. Applications that have potential for external grant funding are particularly encouraged. The proposals will be evaluated by the Scholarly Activity Board (SAB) and will be recommended for funding based on merit only regardless of college, school, department or rank. Applications are due by Friday, February 10, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. Contact John Williamson at john.williamson@csupueblo.edu for more information!
