A Little History:
Over the past 9 months, many individuals (merchants, residents, and property owners) from all over Old Town met monthly to brainstorm ideas & actions to make Old Town better. This ultimately led them to form the Historic Old Town Association (HOTA), the first-of-its-kind association that represents everyone in Old Town, Albuquerque. In October they formally voted for temporary board members to lead the newly formed association until its annual meeting on March 20th, 2023.
The goal of the HOTA is a lofty one - to represent everyone in Old Town Albuquerque: merchants & service providers, residents, & property owners. The board has so many ideas to improve Old Town, communication with each other and the city, safety, but…
Before any of that can be accomplished, the association needs members who care about Old Town to vote for people who will form the official board to represent the association. This vote will take place at the annual meeting on March 20th, 2023.
