Important Notice from Deborah Garrard, Client Services Manager

It’s that time of year when our to-do lists outlast the hours in the day. As Client Services Manager, I’m here to help get one thing off your to-do list. It’s time! It’s time to get you trained in the Guided Payroll Process. Let’s do this.

As of January 1, the Guided Payroll Process will be the only way for you to submit retirement contributions for those you serve at your church or organization. Don’t let January 1 find you scrambling. Resolve now to be ready for the change.

Here are some FAQ’s we have heard over the last few months:

I already use E-bill Express and pay our contributions online. Does this apply to me?
Yes! December’s contributions will be the last payments accepted using the online E-bill Express Service. After January 15, 2023, this service will be discontinued. The only way to send 403(b)(9) contributions for January pay periods will be through Guided Payroll. If you participate with our Life/LTD/AD&D policy, those premiums need to be paid directly through the emailed Insurance invoices.

How do we submit December’s contributions?
You will submit December contributions the same way you are currently remitting contributions, either through E-bill Express or mailed paper check. These will be the last payments accepted via E-bill or mailed paper check. It will be important to submit these prior to January 15, 2023.

Are you going to continue sending monthly invoices?
No. As the employer, you have the most up-to-date and accurate salary information to include the correct contributions due every pay period for each employee. The previous method of “invoicing” often meant incorrect data and contribution information as well as delayed submission for your employees.

Let’s grow together. Let’s mark one thing off our to-do list. Together. Time to make “to-do” to-DONE.

Spaces are filling up quickly and CBB is closed the week after Christmas. Please don’t delay with scheduling your training.

Let’s do this!
