Looking Back, Moving Forward
Grande Prairie thrives due to its numerous unique and successful businesses and their entrepreneurs. These entrepreneurs are your friends and neighbours. When you do business with them it directly supports our local economy.
The Invest Grande Prairie team has spent the last year sharing many stories of local businesses from different sectors, showcasing how they enhance our community, region and beyond our city’s limits.
These businesses and entrepreneurs dare to do things differently and play an important role in stimulating economic growth. They also are integral to improving the overall prosperity of the community.
Some of the key sectors we have highlighted over this past year are agriculture/food production, clean energy/technology, forestry/manufacturing, healthcare/life science, retail services, transportation, and logistics.
We look forward to continuing to share more stories from our local businesses and highlighting other key sectors in our community in the new year.
What is your business doing that is innovative or unique? Help us share your story by emailing ecdevinfo@cityofgp.com.
