This Tuesday's (December 13th) meeting includes the City Council reorganization. The gathering includes a recognition of the outgoing mayor (Betsy Nash from District 4) and the selection of the 2023 mayor and vice mayor, along with other agenda items. You are invited to attend the meeting at 6pm in City Council Chambers (751 Laurel St., Menlo Park, CA 94025), and a reception that will directly follow. No reservations are required.
The meeting on Tuesday, December 13th is anticipated to be on the shorter side. The agenda includes a Consent Calendar, in which a handful of items are typically moved and approved in one motion, and then a series of Regular Business items related to the City Council reorganization. Below are references to one of the Consent items (E4 - Willow Village) and the actions related to reorganization (F1 through F4).
At the December 6, 2022 City Council meeting, the City Council voted to approve the proposed Willow Village project. This item would complete the approval process of the land use entitlements for the masterplan portion of the project. Click here to read coverage in the Almanac of the City Council's approval.

However, the Council will be waiting to do so (with the exception of the City Selection Committee in F4) until Councilmember Mueller's successor is selected and appointed (scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 21st at 6pm at a special meeting).
