We are pleased to share the Waters After School Program Schedule and Interest Form for the coming session. Only classes with open seats are listed. There are some new opportunities available as well. Please also see the new CAPE Newsletter.

HEALTHY SCHOOLS REMINDERS

• Stay Updated on Vaccines. Being up-to-date on vaccinations, including for COVID-19 and the flu, is one of the best ways you can keep your students safe as we enter the winter months. Please visit cps.edu/vaccinations for more information.

• Practice Good Hand Hygiene. Please encourage your student to wash their hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

• Keep Your Student Home if They are Sick. If your student has symptoms such as fever, sore throat, difficulty breathing, or vomiting, please keep them home and consider consulting your healthcare provider.
  

CPS COVID DATA DASHBOARD
Includes school and district level data on positive cases, vaccination and testing. Homeroom 105/PreK, Room 303/8th and 311/5th have mask mandates until December 15. Room 307/4th has a mask mandate until December 16.

LSC UPDATE - PARENT SEAT
The LSC is looking for a parent rep to complete the current LSC term (through June 2024). Meetings are held in person on the third Tuesday of each month, alternating between 4:30 and 6:30 pm. There are also additional meetings in April that are scheduled according to the LSC members' availability. If you're interested in applying, please email waterslsc@gmail.com. We will ask those interested to come to the meeting on December 20th at 4:30 pm, and hopefully select a candidate at that time. Feel free to reach out to any current members with questions, either directly or at the LSC email address.
