In the Loop

 Santa's Ready. Are You?

It's Tulsa Christmas Parade Eve, and here's all the info you need for the main event tomorrow, Saturday, December 10th! Presented by American Waste Control, the Tulsa Christmas Parade starts at 11 AM and is a traditional format with spectators lining the streets while floats, balloons, bands, and Santa himself drive by, bringing Christmas joy to the streets of Downtown Tulsa.

See below for the parade route (it's the historic path along dazzling Boston Avenue!) and note that the best viewing will likely be along Boston from 3rd to 6th streets, on 3rd from Boston to Boulder, and on Boulder from 3rd to 5th. Come early to get a great spot!

Another reason to be an early bird: Parade pre-show entertainment begins at 10:30 AM along the route!

New this year are a giant Golden Driller balloon and a Santa float custom-made for the big man himself! Food trucks will be set up on 6th Street between Boston and Main. Public restrooms are located along the parade route.

Weather: Rain is possible tomorrow morning; however, the Tulsa Christmas Parade is a rain or shine event. Santa's not going to let a little precipitation stop him, so bundle up and bring your umbrellas!

Parking: You can park in any of the legal street, garage, or parking lots available throughout the Downtown area that are not blocked off. Plan to arrive up to an hour early and to walk a bit. For more parking information and resources visit the Downtown Tulsa's parking page.

Road Closures: Parade set-up begins today at noon, closing 6th Street between Detroit and Cincinnati Ave. Starting at 8 AM tomorrow, 10th Street will be closed between Elgin and Cincinnati Avenues, as well as Detroit Avenue to 11th Street. Click here for up-to-date road closures.

Since 1926, the Tulsa Christmas Parade has entertained thousands of children and adults year after year through Downtown Tulsa. This year's theme is "Art Deco the Halls" in celebration of Downtown's historic Art Deco architecture. Don't miss the fun!
