Opinion

STAFF OPINION: In 2020, staff writer Carlos Moreno-Vega was dealing with depression and anxiety amidst the pandemic. He was falling into a deep pit of doomerism, he writes. During this time, he found himself replaying “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.” Through his second playthrough I learned a harsh truth — we can’t change the past, but we have the capability to act in the present and forge a better future.

STAFF OPINION: Photographer Ryan Reynolds first picked up a camera back in 2012. Now, he's an accomplished photographer enjoying his time capturing moments at the UP campus. Having a hobby — or hobbies — separate from school and work is something that is important for everyone, he writes.
