organized by the R Club
in support of a seminarian family

This year we are once again sponsoring a seminarian family from St Vladimir's Seminary. The family has confirmed that they will join us for Yolka on Dec. 18.
Maryann Bacsik has the wish list and will run the event. Please choose a gift, buy it, wrap it up, and bring it to church by Dec. 11.
Sunday, December 18
starting with the Divine Liturgy at 9:30am

The children are hard at work preparing for Yolka. Come and support them!
Rumor has it that Saint Nicholas plans to visit us again this year.

Parents: please buy a gift ($20-25 max), wrap it, write you child's name and a small note (2-3 sentences) of your child's accomplishments this past year. Leave the gift in a box on the stage in the gym on Dec. 18 prior to the Liturgy.
As the cruel and unprovoked invasion of and war in Ukraine by Vladimir Putin tragically continues, we, as Christians living in the USA, will continue to pray and help in whatever way we can:

1. Pray - here is a link to
three Prayers for Peace.

2. Help - on the first page of our website -
www.singac.com - you will find information for ways you can help either financially or with items donated. The information will be periodically updated.

May the Good Lord guard and protect those who are being bombed and tortured, wounded and displaced, and grant eternal rest with His saints to all the lives already lost in this senseless war.
It is necessary first to be purified, then to purify; to be made wise, then to make wise; to become light then to enlighten; to approach God, then to bing others to Him; to be sanctified, then to sanctify.
- Saint Gregory the Theologian

There are many Orthodox Christians who suffer silently. They have suffered painful experiences and are confused about what to do with the effects of their experiences. They live in shame and isolation. This podcast serves as a guide or a “lighthouse” to give them hope and relief.
Fr. Joshua begins his new podcast by answering submitted questions on the subject of trauma and how to heal from it within the context of Orthodox Christianity. If you have a question for Fr. Joshua, please email him via the "Send Feedback" link.
