Matt and I are working on our 2022 analysis and 2023 goals and it is NOT easy for us! Our podcast this week is about how much trouble we are having setting the many goals our business coach wants us to track.
So what are your goals this year? First step, analyze what happened for you last year. Even if you did not have specific goals, you need to look at what worked and what didn't. Did you want more maintenance work and it didn't happen?
That's where this year's goals come in. A goal cannot be a big grand idea-- it works best when measurable. So instead of saying I want more maintenance work, come up with a number. For us, it's making $550,000 in pond maintenance in 2023. Or a percentage works too. We want to go up 25% in monthly maintenance contracts.
